Element Cycles is an employee-owned, independent bike shop in Redmond, WA.  It's not your average shop. We sell and service bikes that are "worthy of the gram". BMC, Pinarello, Cervelo, ENVE, Colnago, Moots and the like all find their home with us.  

We are a bike sales and service business operating a single storefront. Our staff consists of four professional wrenches, and we are looking to add one more.  No sales staff, no marketing managers, no overhead. The phone rings... you answer it. A customer visits... you help them.  Throughout the day you deliver on the service appointments that have been scheduled, as well as the troubleshooting that walks in the door.  We all ride the shop rides, and many of us ride with customers before/after work.  

All of this brings us to what differentiates us.  Authenticity.  We exist in the road and gravel cycling community.  Some of us race while others adventure. When we are not in the shop, we are out there.  Customer conversations are not in any way contrived... we just share our knowledge and talents with them to best serve their passion -- cycling. 

If you want to join us, you need to be up to the task.  It is part skill, part personality, and part commitment.  A UBI graduate is a great place to start, as is prior shop experience.  No faking it. Bring what you know, we will teach you the rest.  It's gonna be all the things... Shimano, SRAM, Campagnolo... bottom brackets, bearings, brake bleeds... freehubs, wheel trues, wax.  Oh, and cleaning. Lots and lots of small parts cleaning.  

We can scale hours as appropriate; salary and benefits negotiable.  Ideally 30-40 hours per week. Hoping to find someone who wants to be a part of the shop and our community.
